Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Kurofune Hotel. At Kurofune Hotel, the health and safety of our guests are paramount, and preventive measures against infectious diseases, including the novel coronavirus, are now in place. We very much appreciate your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to welcoming you in person.
1.Hand sanitizer stations & cleaning/ventilation within premises and guest rooms
- Photocatalytic disinfection and deodorization devices, which have been proven to be effective in inactivating the coronavirus, are placed at the following locations within the hotel: banquet halls on the 7th floor, restrooms attached to large bathing rooms, and in front of rooms 1, 2 and 3 on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors of the West Wing.
- Hand sanitizer is available for use throughout public spaces and in restrooms.
- Frequently touched surfaces, including door handles in public spaces, as well as in-room items such as light switches, remote controls and telephone handsets, are wiped with antiseptic solution (strongly electrolyzed alkaline water) and thoroughly disinfected.
- We ensure our properties are well-ventilated at all times including when guest rooms are serviced.
2.Employee health management
- We conduct employee health checks before the start of each shift.
- Our employees wash and sanitize their hands with alcohol-based antiseptic solution prior to beginning work and continue to do so frequently while on duty.
- Our service staff is required to wear masks during their shifts.
Other notes
- Transparent partitions at the front desk provide safe registration.
- A temperature check for every guest will be conducted upon check-in. We ask to be provided with name and contact details for at least one member of every group, as well as identity verification.
- We ask that all guests be sure to put on a mask before entering the hotel.
- In our dining rooms, we have arranged tables to respect the required social distance and have incorporated partitions that reduce contact between guests.
- If you wish to limit the amount of close contact with other guests, we recommend booking a package that includes accommodations in a room with a private open-air bath, and/or having boxed meals delivered to your room.
- Most of the buffet dishes are individually plated, and staff members are
in charge of serving from large containers.
Please rest assured you will not have to share serving utensils with other guests.
